After leaving the hotel kitchens she started Florentines Coffee shop and in 2007 made her first wedding cake for her sister. The love of wedding cakes grew and in 2013 ventured out on her own as Florentines Cakes.<br \/>\nBaking has always been her passion and believes in using quality ingredients and attention to detail to create beautiful and delicious cakes.<br \/>\nChrista works on her own, so everything is done from start to finish as well as setting up at the venue.<br \/>\nCake styles range from simple to elaborate decor. Tiered cakes, cupcake towers and individually made miniature cakes which are perfect for guests to take home. Wedding favours and smaller treats for dessert.<br \/>\nAdding a little personal and sometimes comical touch to the cake, Christa makes edible cake toppers to replicate the couples and furry family members who can\u2019t always attend the celebrations.<br \/>\nContact Christa to arrange a tasting and consultation to create your own special wedding cake.
