They perform regularly as a string trio, and can be extended to form a string quartet.<br \/>\nThe string trio consists of a violin, viola and cello, or can be booked as a standard string quartet. All musicians have extensive experience as soloists, session musicians and ensemble players. A String Of Pearls boasts an impressive repertoire to suit any function, from standard classics like Pachabel\u2019s Canon in D, Bach\u2019s Air On A G String to Gatsby-esque Scott Joplin rags, to modern pop and indie songs, such as \u2018Perfect\u2019 by Ed Sheeran, \u2018Here Comes The Sun\u2019 by The Beatles, and \u2018All Of Me\u2019 for by John Legend. A full repertoire list, as well as some videos of the trio performing are available on their website.<br \/>\nThe trio plays an average of 30 weddings per year. A popular choice for pre-ceremony, ceremony proceedings, as well as cocktail hour after the ceremony. A special arrangement can be made for the bride that would like to walk in during the ceremony on a specific song. The wedding package on offer reflects the most practical and popular choices.<br \/>\nWedding package<br \/>\n20 \u2013 25 minutes before the ceremony (light classical repertoire)Ceremony proceedings (bridesmaids\u2019 entrance, bride\u2019s entrance, guests exit)45-50 minutes after the ceremony (jazzy and pop repertoire)<br \/>\nThe wedding package is applicable as long as the trio is at the venue for a maximum of 2.5 hours, or 50 minutes after the ceremony, whichever comes first.<br \/>\nTravel fee<br \/>\nThe trio does not charge an extra travel fee if the venue is within 25km of Westcliff, Johannesburg.<br \/>\nBooking A String Of Pearls<br \/>\nThe trio requires a 50% deposit to secure the booking.
